While the race for Miami mayor is the one most talked about, the elections for county commission seats are just as heated.
Today we are talking about the County Commission District 7 race – which includes Pinecrest, parts of Miami and Coral Gables – between Cindy Lerner and Raquel Regalado. Lerner is a former mayor of the City of Pinecrest and Regalado served on the Miami-Dade school board. Lerner has kept a fundraising lead, but her cash on hand lead is narrower.
