The votes have been counted in Florida and Miami-Dade County. The results? Miami is as diverse politically as it is culturally.
Miami-Dade is an interesting case study for a diverse mix of the left and the right. The county went for Joe Biden, but the margin was considerably smaller than it was in 2016. Key congressional seats held by Democrats swung to Republicans this cycle. And, Miami-Dade voters elected their first female mayor who was endorsed by major unions.
