Long one of the most popular of the sales tax holidays, Florida shoppers will take advantage of this year’s back-to-school savings event going on now through Monday, August 9.
The items tax free include the first $1,000 of the sales tax of computers and accessories. Clothing, footwear and accessories that sell for $60 or less are included, as are most school supplies selling for $15 or less, with no limit on the number of items purchased.
