Sen. Tina Polsky, who currently represents Senate District 29, filed to represent Senate District 30 and avoid running against her ally Sen. Lori Berman.
The new Senate District map had them both in Senate District 26, but Polsky says she’s moving. The new district she’s moving into has a lot in common with her old district. More than half of her old district now lies in SD 30, she said.
Earlier, Polsky had said she was moving to Sen. Gary Farmer’s District, now Senate District 34. The new map puts him and Sen. Jason Pizzo in the same Senate District 37.
