The Miami Beach Convention Center has dates with disaster – the Natural Disasters Expo, that is.
The event, starting at 10 a.m Monday and continuing Tuesday, will bring together disaster preparation specialists and emergency response professionals with the latest disaster-related products, best practices for recovery and strategies to improve community preparedness.
Admission is free to the event that features 200 speakers, 100 live demos and 300 leading suppliers at the event, according to expo organizer Prysm Group.
Speakers from the U.S. Corps of Engineers, the National Hurricane Center and NASA are on the agenda. More information is available here.
