Josh Gattis will be the University of Miami’s offensive coordinator. He left the University of Michigan to join the staff of new Head Football Coach Mario Cristobal.

Gattis, 38, won the 2021 Broyles Award that goes to the top assistant coach in college football. He spent the last three seasons at Michigan as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach.

In the last season, Michigan, the Wolverines won the Big Ten for the first time since 2004. The team also finished No. 16 in the nation with 35.8 points per game.

Cristobal also recently hired Kevin Steele as UM’s defensive coordinator.
