At his introductory news conference, new Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said, “I quickly realized that this was my dream job and I had to go get it.”
The Dolphins hired McDaniel, who was the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, to replace Brian Flores.
McDaniel said his system will be different from other NFL teams.
“Schematically – offense, defense, special teams – you are going to see a unique design of everything that’s tailored to our players,” he said. “That’s why it will be unique to us because we will tailor everything to our players and that’s first and foremost.”
