A candidate for Boynton Beach mayor has been ordered to pay court costs associated with her viral refusal to wear a mask, according to the Sun Sentinel.
Cindy Falco-DiCorrado, now third in the money race among four mayoral candidates, was written up in the New York Post when Palm Beach County deputies dragged her out of a West Boca bagel shop in January 2021. Her application for amnesty from Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office was denied.
After a jury found her guilty of violating Palm Beach County’s mask ordinance, a judge withheld adjudication this week but ordered her to pay court costs.
