UM women’s and men’s teams headed to the Big Dance

As March Madness cranks up, the Miami Hurricanes will be double dancing.

The UM women’s basketball team earned a No. 8 seed in the Greensboro region. They will play the No. 9 seed, South Florida, in Columbia, S.C. on Friday. The time is to be determined.

The winner of that game will likely face top-ranked South Carolina on Sunday. The women advanced to the championship game of the ACC Tournament before falling to North Carolina State.

The men’s team , seeded No. 10, will face No. 7 seed, Southern Cal, on Friday at 3:10 p.m. in Greenville, S.C.
