Dolphins’ moves send ‘playoffs or bust’ message

by carlislewillard

The Dolphins sent the clearest message they could about their intentions for the upcoming season: playoffs or bust.

Playoffs? How about going to the Super Bowl? Cincinnati did it, so why not the Dolphins?

Miami managed to change the script from its off-season controversies by signing touted free agent offensive tackle Terron Armstead to protect quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Then they made a bigger move, trading for elite wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

That gives Dolphins fans something to talk about beyond the firing of coach Brian Flores, who’s suing the NFL over the league’s hiring practices for minority head coaches.
