President Donald Trump’s lawsuit accusing Hillary Clinton of trying to “destroy his life” has a South Florida connection.
Not only was the 108-page lawsuit filed here, but the lead attorney lives in Boca Raton. Peter Ticktin wrote a book about knowing Trump starting with their years at New York Military Academy.
Newsweek is reporting that the Florida Bar temporarily suspended Ticktin from law practice for professional misconduct in 2009. He also seems to share his longtime friend’s penchant for self-promotion, his website shows. He skipped his first and last years of college before he was admitted to medical school, it says.
