The University of Miami baseball team swept No. 3-ranked Virginia over the weekend for its 13th-consecutive win.
That’s the Hurricanes’ longest winning streak since 2015, also marking their first sweep of a top 3-ranked team since 2012. With no losses since March 20, they are ranked 26-6 overall and 13-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
“Even now, people are doubting us,” sophomore Yohandy Morales said. “We are just going to keep proving them all wrong. Everybody keeps doubting us because we’re a young team, but we have a lot of fight in us.”
Miami returns to the action Tuesday against FAU.
