Democratic Senate District 38 candidate Janelle Perez gained an endorsement from the Florida branch of the AFSCME, the largest public employees trade union in the nation.
Janelle’s fighting spirit and dedication to public service makes her the best choice for our families, communities and those we serve,” AFSCME Florida Council Vicki Hall said.
Perez credited committed government workers during the pandemic for Florida’s economic recovery, adding: “That dedication merits the support of state leaders who believe in investing in our employees.”
For now, Perez has one SD 38 opponent: Republican consultant and former Lee County Commissioner Vicki Lopez.
