Miami nonprofit Voices for Children Foundation has named lifelong community builder and child welfare worker Kadie Black as its new president and CEO.
Black is a former development director for Kristi House Children’s Advocacy Center and a development and community outreach manager at Foster Care Review.
She became a Guardian ad Litem volunteer at 19. For seven years, she ran external affairs for Our Kids of Miami-Dade and Monroe.
“Her long and successful trajectory and commitment to the betterment of child welfare in Florida is unparalleled,” VFC Chair Vince Castro said. “We are thrilled and fortunate to have Kadie join (us).”
