After a controversial law’s passage that some say chills teacher support for LGBTQ+ youth in schools, Miami’s Democratic Sen. Jason Pizzo is highlighting an endorsement from SAVE Action PAC, an LGBTQ+ advocacy organization.
The PAC’s executive director said he was proud to endorse Pizzo’s re-election bid.
“More than ever, the LGBTQ+ community needs allies in our state government, and we are confident that Sen. Pizzo will continue to serve as a voice for equality and fairness,” Orlando Gonzales said.
SAVE Action PAC also endorsed the Senate campaigns of Sen. Shervrin Jones, Rep. Michael Grieco and Miami business owner Janelle Perez.
