Republican House District 120 candidate Rhonda Rebman Lopez broke Florida campaign fundraising rules with an invitation to a campaign event at her Key Largo home.
A disclaimer on the invitation stating Rebman Lopez’s campaign paid for the invitation and event did not include her party affiliation as required by state law. Such a violation carries an up to $1,000 fine.
Rebman Lopez filed this month to challenge incumbent HD 120 Republican Rep. Jim Mooney, whom she narrowly lost to in 2020.
Republican Robert Allen and Democratic candidates Adam Gentle and Dan Horton-Diaz are also running to supplant Moody later this year.
