Charlie Crist receives endorsement from South Florida Senators

South Florida’s Democratic Sens. Lori Berman, Shevrin Jones and Tina Polsky are endorsing the one major gubernatorial candidate who’s not from South Florida.

The trio are throwing their weight behind Tampa Bay’s Charlie Crist for the Democratic nomination for Governor. They chose him over their Senate colleague, Sen. Annette Taddeo of Miami and Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, who grew up in Miami and lived much of her adult life in Broward County.

“It’s time to get us back, get us united, and it’s time for all of us to get behind the right candidate for Governor, Charlie Crist,” Polsky said.
