Louis Vuitton closing its Worth Avenue shop

by carlislewillard

After a 40-year run on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue, selling premium handbags and luggage, Louis Vuitton is closing its shop and leaving the island, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Louis Vuitton is ranked as the world’s most valuable luxury brand. It’s part of the luxury goods conglomerate Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, with headquarters in Paris.

There are 5,000 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide. And Palm Beach County’s denizens won’t have to go far for some of that buttery leather. The shop at Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens is not expected to close anytime soon, real estate brokers told The Post.
