Government relations specialist Kevin Marino Cabrera gained a pair of high-profile Republican endorsements for his bid to succeed Rebeca Sosa on the Miami-Dade County Commission.
Former President Donald Trump, whom Cabrera helped win Florida in 2020, and Jimmy Patronis, Florida’s chief financial officer and state fire marshal, both announced they are backing Cabrera in the contest.
“Kevin Cabrera will represent his community with honor,” Trump said in a rare endorsement of a candidate for local office.
Added Patronis: “Kevin will fight for our families while standing with firefighters and first responders across the community to ensure safer streets and neighborhoods.”
