The Heat are where they expected to be – in the Eastern Conference finals. They will face the Boston Celtics starting Tuesday in Sunrise for the right to go to the NBA Finals and play for a championship.
It’s Miami’s second trip to the conference finals in three years.
The status of Heat point guard Kyle Lowry remains uncertain. He did not practice Sunday after missing the final two games of the conference semifinals with a hamstring injury.
“He was doing things on the side, things of that nature,” Miami Coach Erik Spoelstra said. “I don’t have an update on him.”
