The Dolphins and Buccaneers will hold joint practices in training camp ahead of their preseason opener on Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Tampa.
The story, originally reported by The Athletic, was confirmed by the Miami Herald.
With the NFL preseason reduced to three games, the joint practices gives players and coaches a chance to get in more preparation for the regular season.
The Bucs and Dolphins do not play in the regular season.
It could be Miami’s last up-close look at quarterback Tom Brady, who led Tampa to a 45-17 win over the Dolphins last year in Tampa.
