Boston ran away from Miami in the first half Thursday and cruised to a 127-102 victory to even their NBA Eastern Conference final series at one game apiece.
The Celtics stunned the home crowd in Miami by racing to a 70-45 lead at halftime, rendering the second half an academic exercise.
Boston was bolstered by the return of starters Al Horford and Marcus Smart. Both missed the series’ opening game.
Smart had 24 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds, while Horford had 10 points.
The series now shifts to Boston for the next games, beginning Monday at 8:30 p.m.
