Miami Republican Rep. Daniel Perez is the most recent member of the Florida GOP to back government relations specialists Kevin Marino Cabrera for the Miami-Dade County Commission.
Perez, who is set to become House Speaker in 2024, said Cabrera “is a fighter who will be a great partner and a strong advocate for the residents of Miami-Dade in Tallahassee.”
Perez joins several other Republicans in endorsing Cabrera, a partner at global public strategy firm Mercury.
Others include former President Donald Trump, Florida Chief Operating Officer Jimmy Patronis and U.S. Rep. María Elvira Salazar, who called Cabrera “a proven leader.”
