Matt Willhite qualifies for PBC Commission race, touts grassroots support

by Margaret Willard

Democratic Rep. Matt Willhite has qualified via petition for the District 6 Palm Beach County Commission race.

“It’s clear that our residents want a County Commissioner who will tackle our affordability crisis and protect reproductive rights,” Willhite said, touting a “broad base of support.”

“That’s exactly what I’ve done in Tallahassee, and it’s exactly what I’ll do in County Hall.”

Added Michael Worley, Senior Advisor to Willhite’s Commission campaign, “Matt has the grassroots support and vision that Palm Beach County residents deserve.”

Willhite is competing against Democrats Michelle Oyola McGovern and Sylvia L. Sharps, as well as Republican Sara Baxter.
