Robert Flippo of Boca Raton, CEO of medical equipment supply company MobileHelp, will take a seat as a member of the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees, Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced.
Flippo earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida and his master’s in business administration from the University of Miami. He holds seven U.S. patents for communication systems. His company specializes in medical alert systems that include fall detection ability.
Florida Atlantic University is a part of the state’s public university system. It has six campuses from Boca Raton to Jupiter.
