CATALYST Miami, the nonprofit that Mayor Danielle Levine Cava founded in 1996 to engage low- and middle-income families, is having a block party and everyone’s invited.
The party – with live entertainment, giveaways, food trucks and more ways to connect with free services – will be at 2 p.m., June 25 at Griffing Park, 12220 Griffing Blvd., North Miami.
Neighborhood restaurants and food trucks will be providing the food and drink, the nonprofit’s news release says.
Beyond the party, the organization serves over 5,000 people every year, aimed at providing the tools so that more may become self-sufficient and civically engaged.
