Jared Moskowitz‘s role in Florida’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak – and other leadership roles in other levels of government – is winning his campaign an expanding circle of support from all levels of government.
Moskowitz is running to succeed U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch. Last week, he earned the backing of former Congresswoman and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala, Sen. Jason Pizzo of Miami, former Broward County Sen. Perry Thurston and Sunrise Mayor Mike Ryan.
“His critical work during the first 18 months of the pandemic prevented far worse outcomes in the State of Florida,” Shalala said.
