Norse Atlantic Airways is bringing back direct flights to European cities from Fort Lauderdale’s airport – for as little as $149 per person, the Sun Sentinel reports.
Flights to Oslo, Norway started Monday and the low-cost airline plans to expand its routes from Fort Lauderdale to Paris and other European cities, officials at the Fort Lauderdale-based company told the Sun Sentinel.
Nonstop service to Paris from Fort Lauderdale would be a first, according to area tourism officials.
Direct flights from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Europe ended after a decade of operation when Norwegian Air Shuttle filed for bankruptcy in 2021.
