Three South Florida lawmakers find themselves in the unenviable position of having to hit the campaign trail for the second time this year thanks to Gov. Ron DeSantis‘ election timing.
Democratic Sen. Rosalind Osgood representing central Broward’s Senate District 32 will again face the same Republican Joseph Carter she handily defeated in a March Special General Election.
Democratic Rep. Daryl Campbell, representing Broward’s House District 99 also has a rematch with fellow Democrat Elijah Manley in the August Primary.
And Democratic Rep. Jervonte Edmonds, who represents Palm Beach’s House District 88, faces a Republican Roz Stevens in the General Election.
