Tyreek Hill received death threats over Tua-Mahomes comparison

Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill probably knew he was igniting a controversy on his podcast when he praised his new teammate Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as a more accurate passer than former teammate Patrick Mahomes.

Controversy is one thing, but some of the reactions on social media to Hill’s remarks appeared to come from straight crazy town.

“On every social media account I own, I got death threats,” Hill said.

He added, “I just feel like a lot of people overreacted for no reason. … They really didn’t see what I said. A lot of people are just acting off emotion.”
