The University of Miami scored another major football recruiting victory when five-star Francis Mauigoa, considered by many to be the best offensive tackle in the country, verbally committed to play for the Hurricanes.
Mauigoa chose the ‘Canes over the Florida Gators, Alabama Crimson Tide, Tennessee Volunteers, Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans. He is the fifth blue-chip recruit to commit to the Hurricanes’ Class of 2023 in recent days under new coach Mario Cristobal.
“I don’t like to talk a lot. I like the action. I’m all about the action,” Mauigoa said.
He is a rising senior at Bradenton’s IMG Academy.
