The Miami Heat wrapped up the summer league with an 86-83 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Heat had hoped to get a good look at first-round draft choice Nikola Jovic, but he missed several games because of a quadriceps bruise. However, he had one game before the injury that gave the Heat a reason to feel good about their choice.
After struggling in his first two games, he broke out with 25 points against the Golden State Warriors.
He was 5-of-7 in 3-point shooting, with nine rebounds.
The Heat are off now until training camp begins in two months.
