Fans got their first in-person look at this season’s Miami Dolphins during Saturday’s practice.
There was a lot to like about what they saw.
The highlight was a 65-yard touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to Tyreek Hill, but it wasn’t the only one. Tagovailoa later hit Jaylen Waddle with a strike from 40 yards for a score.
Expectations are high, especially since this season is the 50th anniversary of Miami’s last Super Bowl championship, the perfect 1972 Dolphins.
“I think it’s not a bad thing for people to be optimistic about how you can perform,” head coach Mike McDaniel said.
