The Florida Atlantic football team wasted little time turning up the heat. The Owls had a full-contact scrimmage on just the second night of training camp.
Head coach Willie Taggart said he liked what he saw, particularly from the quarterbacks.
“Those guys are so much better than where they were in the spring,” he said. “They always say you don’t have to get ready if you stay ready, so we need those guys to stay ready, get ready, and continue to compete.”
The Owls open the regular season on Aug. 27 against Charlotte. The game will be televised on CBSSN.
