FIU will hold a fan fest on Aug. 13 so Panthers supporters get an up-close look during an open practice as the team tries to rebound from a disastrous 2021 season.
After winning their first game last year, the Panthers dropped their last 11 games. That led to the departure of Head Coach Butch Davis, replaced by former Memphis Defensive Coordinator Mike MacIntyre.
MacIntyre is familiar with rebuilding projects. He took over struggling programs at San Jose State and Colorado and helped turn both around.
The Panthers were picked to finish last this season at the Conference USA media day.
