Democratic Rep. Daryl Campbell and Elijah Manley competed in a Special Primary earlier this year – and now there’s a rematch to determine who will represent House District 99.
Campbell, the fundraising front-runner, is in a strong position to retain his seat. But the district has been reconfigured to include Wilton Manors, along with parts of Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes and Plantation. Campbell beat Manley by 15 percentage points in January, but the addition of Wilton Manors could mean new voters for Manley, who identifies as queer.
With no Republican running, this is an open Primary with all voters eligible to participate.
