There’s GOP operative-turned-lobbyist Kevin Marino Cabrera, who enjoys a slight fundraising lead and strong support from many politicians, including former President Donald Trump.
Neck-and-neck with him, money-wise, is Coral Gables Commissioner Jorge Fors Jr., whom Cabrera donated to before entering the race.
They’ve raised about $1 million combined.
They face businessman Dariel Fernandez and Miami Springs Councilman Victor Vazquez (the only Democrat in the race), who trail far behind in dollars held.
