Udonis Haslem may be only 20 years away from his eligibility to collect Social Security, but that didn’t stop the 42-year-old from announcing he will return to the Heat for his 20th NBA season.
Haslem signed a one-year $2.8 million contract, the minimum deal for an NBA veteran. He said this will be his final season.
“I have decided to follow through with what me and my father had talked about, and I will finish what I started, and I will play 20 years,” Haslem told the Miami Herald.
The Miami native has spent his entire career with the Heat.
