Indira Cristin, owner of Miami’s Bettersweet Vegan Bakery, has a mission to include all eaters, no matter their dietary restrictions.
When Indira moved to Miami 12 years ago, she fell in love with using alternative ingredients to make tasty treats and wanted to give options to those who ate vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free. What started as a fun challenge to make alternatives for family and friends became a successful business.
Cristin regards tools, like Facebook, to help grow her customer base. Using advertising and direct messages on the platform, she grew her business and even expanded to a commercial kitchen.
