Democratic U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia is headed to South Florida for help tackling Republican former NFL running back Herschel Walker in the General Election.
Warnock is hitting Miami 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a to-be-disclosed locale. He’ll do the same in Fort Lauderdale at noon Friday. Contact his campaign for more information.
The visits follow a new survey showing Walker with a two-point lead over Warnock in favorability.
Warnock holds a significant funding advantage, raising about $85 million compared to $20 million for Walker, who dominated his Primary thanks in part to an endorsement from Donald Trump.
