Spanish-language radio ad buy targets Miami market

Charlie Crist’s gubernatorial campaign is targeting Miami-Dade County constituents with a “six-figure” ad buy that features an audio clip of the Governor’s No. 2 saying her boss plans to ship illegal Cuban migrants to Delaware, the home state of President Joe Biden.

It’s aimed at the area’s Cubans, who arrived when fleeing Cubans received safe harbor. But Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez seems to say they’ll get the same treatment as other undocumented migrants.

“He’s [Gov. Ron DeSantis] going to send them, frankly speaking, to Delaware, the President’s state,” Nuñez’s says in Spanish.

She later tweeted the ad is a distortion.
