A new study out of the University of Florida says the use of sleep meds is down 31 percent over the past decade. It gets even better for those over 80 who are susceptible to falls leading to injury, down 86 percent.
Researcher, Dr. Christopher Kaufmann believes the reason is the popularity of “digital therapeutics” including virtual sessions with a sleep therapist and meditation apps.
