Vineyards Country Club, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida surprise local cancer survivor

Thanks to the efforts of Vineyards Country Club and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, local cancer survivor Jose’s wish came true, in the form of his own golf cart.

Throughout its 37-year history, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida has granted more than 12,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses throughout South and Southwest Florida, the Tampa Bay and Suncoast regions, and U.S. Virgin Islands.

In April, Vineyards’ annual Concert on the Lawn raised more than $7,000 to benefit the organization, as more than 450 people gathered to enjoy live music, dancing, and donations to support the 501(c)(3) organization. For more, visit Wish.org/SFLA.
