Lobbyist Kevin Marino Cabrera’s campaign for the Miami-Dade Commission just received an endorsement from one of his former Primary opponents.
Entrepreneur and fellow Republican Dariel Fernandez announced that now he’s out of the race, he wants Cabrera to win a runoff this fall for the District 6 seat on the County Commission.
“Kevin will lead with conviction and principles,” Fernandez said, adding that Cabrera “has the right combination of private sector experience and community involvement.”
The nod from Fernandez is the 16th personal endorsement of Cabrera, who faces Republican Coral Gables Commissioner Jorge Fors Jr. in the Nov. 8 General Election.
