The Dolphins solidified their status as the NFL’s surprise team of the season so far by holding off high-powered Buffalo 21-19.
Miami improved to 3-0 headed to a Thursday night game at Cincinnati.
Although Buffalo ran 90 plays compared to 39 for Miami and outgained the Dolphins 497 yards to 212, the Dolphins’ defense could take a bow after stopping arguably the league’s best offense when it counted.
Buffalo came into the game averaging 36 points, and Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns, but Miami’s defense came through with big stops to secure the win.
