New portal gathering data about King Tides

by carlislewillard

The highest tides of the year are incoming – starting early next month and continuing through December – and Broward County wants to hear from those who experience “King Tides” directly.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to monitor conditions and stay alert during these high tide times. The county has set up a portal for the public to report what they see. The site, flooding.broward.org, allows residents to directly report so the high water’s effect become better known.

“King Tides” are expected to roll in for Oct. 8-11, Oct. 25-27, Oct. 28-29 and Nov. 24-26. More information available at Broward.org/resilience/localconditions.
