If you thought losing quarterback Tua Tagolvailoa to a concussion was bad, you should have seen what happened Sunday to the Dolphins.
They were hammered 40-17 by the New York Jets, Miami’s second consecutive loss.
Even worse, Teddy Bridgewater became the second Dolphins quarterback sidelined by the NFL’s new concussion protocol even though he passed all the required tests.
An observer saw Bridgewater stumble, which is an automatic exit.
After Bridgewater was injured on his first play of the game, rookie Skylar Thompson was thrown into the breach. The Jets pulled away in the fourth quarter to clinch the win.
