Top political strategist and government relations expert Eric Johnson is the new Managing Director of the global public strategy firm Mercury Public Affairs.
Johnson, a fixture in the political scene, will be based in Fort Lauderdale and has more than 30 years experience in Washington, D.C. and Florida at local, state and federal levels.
He founded Johnson Strategies and has managed winning campaigns for U.S. Reps. Ted Deutch and Murphy, who defeated Republican former U.S. Rep. Allen West.
Most recently, Johnson served as strategist for former Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz’s congressional campaign.
