Using a formula that measures factors such as number of losses, injuries and in-person game attendance, an online betting outfit has determined that the Miami Heat have the most dedicated basketball fans in the country.
The Heat landed atop the Chicago Bulls in the measure. Central Florida’s team also makes an appearance on this list: The Orlando Magic came in third for fan love nationwide.
OnlineBetting.com also found that the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks are generating the least fan enthusiasm. No wonder: those three teams also appear in the outfit’s 10-most cursed teams in the NBA.
