Americans are getting an early start on the Halloween spirit this year, says a new report.
After analyzing more than 1,200 Halloween decoration search terms in Google to identify each state’s favorite spooky decoration, Lombardo Homes found that 39% of Americans set up their spooky decor during the first week of October, spending an average of about $61.
The report, which also polled over 1,000 homeowners to understand national trends in Halloween home decorations, found witchy decor is Florida’s most popular.
Inflation has put a chill on spending plans, but 71% surveyed still plan to cast a spell from the lawn.
